Plenary Speaker & Pitch Competition - Sunday, October 8, 2023
The FTBR Black Tech Pitch Competition is designed for majority Black-Owned, Pre-Series A start-up technology businesses looking for funding and support. Eligible contestants will go through an application and selection process, top applicants will be chosen to pitch their business to our panel of Venture Capitalists and Investors looking for fresh ideas with potential impact. Prize money in the amount of $5,000, and $1,500 will be awarded to the runner-up respectively.
VIP Lunch - Sunday, October 8, 2023
The VIP Lunch will occur immediately at the close of the main session on Sunday, and will feature four-time Olympic medalist and two-time World Record holder in swimming, Cullen Jones. In addition to his accolades and accomplishments, Cullen is passionate about giving back and has developed a partnership with USA Swimming Foundation’s Make a Splash Program. Cullen tries to help all people learn how to swim. Cullen is also a Senior Manager of Sports Marketing and Philanthropy at Speedo where they are constantly working to innovate the sport of swimming with technology.
